Welcome to the homepage of Baskett Law Office. We are located at the center of downtown Missoula, Montana, in the historic Higgins Building. Our areas of practice are limited to Estate Planning (Wills and Trusts), Probate (administration of decedent’s estates), Tax (preparation of income tax returns and tax-based planning), Business Law (formation of businesses and representing buyers or sellers of business interests), and Real Estate. Probate is a court proceeding designed to assure that a decedent's assets pass to the persons entitled to them. The process begins with the appointment of a Personal Representative and ends with the final distribution. We can help you probate an estate.- Tax
